Here at DAW Gas Services Ltd we offer a system power-flushing service for all types of central heating systems i.e seal combi and conventional systems, open vented conventional systems.

Natural Corrosion in central heating systems can cause major problems for boilers and systems in particular combi boilers. This can cause blockages, leaks and general poor circulation within the heating system, which in turn doesn’t allow the radiators within the property to heat up as they should.

The only way that this corrosion (iron oxide) can be removed from the system is with a power-flush. This involves using a powerful power flushing machine with aid of cleaning chemicals to clean and cleanse the system. The iron oxide that passes through the machine is removed by 2 powerful magnets, preventing it from re-entering the system during the power-flush process.

Once all the dirt and sludge is removed from the system it is refilled with clean water and an inhibitor (system protection chemical) is added for future protection of the system and boiler.

The price for power flushing will depend on the size of your heating system within the property (i.e amount of radiators) and if the system is either sealed or open.

Fitting A Filter Such As MagnaClean Or SpiroTec Can Prevent Future Problems

We strongly recommend that a primary system filter is fitted once the system has been power-flushed (magnaclean or spirotec). The benefits of t his that the filter will remove and story any future dirt and natural corrosion. This filter can be cleaned out on the annual service of your boiler. The filter will help to keep the water with the heating system in tip top condition, and will eliminate the need for any future power-flush in the near future.
